All the World’s Billionaires

Hi All,
in this instructive map each bubble represents a billionaire and the size of the country represents the total wealth of the billionaires in that country.

Several striking observations:

• Looks like USA followed by China is dominating, the third one is already way behind
• The APAC region is top, more wealthy than N- and S-America together
• China is second wealthy country with 373 billionaires, I think they made their homework in capitalism
• India is way more wealthy than expected with rank 4 after Germany (and total wealth higher than Russia), seems the wealth is extremely disbalanced in this country
• Japans economy is about a third the size of China’s, but Japan has only about 10% as many billionaires
• Saudi Arabia is less wealthy than expected, partly due to the fact that lots of wealth there is hidden in state-owned companies

Compared to these numbers, the current market cap of all cryptos (137B$) is pathetic. If each billionaire would invest lets say only 2% in cryptos, the crypto market cap would explode by 1000%.
